HC82148: AFTER UPDATE DRAWING, HIDDEN LINE THICKNESS DIFFER FROM ORIGINAL ONE.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Prob: After update drawing, hidden line thickness differ from
original one.

Scenario:
1. Open Top1.CATProduct and Drawing1.CATDrawing.
2. Double click "Offset.1" in the specification tree of
   Top1.CATProduct.
   And modify the value from 50 to 60.
3. Click right button on "Offset.1",and select update in popup.
4. Activate Drawing1.CATDrawing and click "Update" icon.
   Then hidden lines thickness change from 0.35 to 0.13.
   (As result refer image2.jpg)

The problem occurs on CATIA V5R7rel.

Problem conclusion


    

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
  CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 8 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R7SP2.

 INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
Recreate the view
no problem anymore.
