Error description

• CATIA RETURNS AN ERROR MESSAGE EVEN IF THE CATPART HAS BEEN
  CORRECLTY SAVED AND CLOSED
  
  OPERATION
  1. File-Open : select CATDrawing
  2. File-Open : select CATPart
  3. Double click EdgeFillet.2 in CATPart and change radius from
     5mm to 7mm, OK
  4. File-Save : overwrite CATPart
  5. File-Close : close CATPart
  6. File-Save : attempt to overwrite CATDrawing
  => Error message window :
     Points to a modified document that will not be saved
     Proceed anyway?
  CORRECT because drawing has not been updated
  7. Select Update icon.  The CATDrawing is updated.
  8. File-Save : attempt to overwrite CATDrawing again.
  => Error message window still appears
  INCORRECT since CATPart is saved/closed and CATDrawing updated.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

•  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  CATIA returns an error message after saving the drawing even if
  the CATPart file has been correctly saved and closed and the
  CATDrawing updated.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 4 GA level
  
   TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  CATDocTransaction notion has been implemented.
  
   ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  This problem has been corrected from V5R3 SP2.
  No error message appears after update of the drawing and save.
