HC44866: PROBLEM ON HP MACHINE WHEN READING A CUSTOMER CATALOG CREATED ONAIX

• CATIA 420GA.
  HP-UX 10.20.
  One of our AEC customers has following setup-
  Server is AIX machine for license and $CAT_CUST and
  $CAT_SITE filesystem.
  One client machine is HP and it has got $CAT_CUST(/home/catadm)
  and $CAT_SITE (/home/catadm/AEC) mounted from the AIX server
  machine. On this machine catinst is run to update the catadmso
  that it gets hp related files. And then aec_site_upd_os is also
  run.
  The default/standard catalog 005 has no problem when accessing
  in the HP/AIX machine. Customer has created a catalogcalled 002
  using the standard methodology on the AIX machine. This can be
  accessed without any problem in this AIX machine.
  But he gets the following in the terminal window when attempting
  to do anything with the 002 catalog in the HP machine
  (the role could be user or setup and the context is
  piping design) -

Local fix

Problem summary

• You can now access the piping catalog on HP.  There was a
  problem with calculating the pipe NOD.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 4 RELEASE 2.1 REFRESH 1 GA level  (FREL421R1)
