Error description

  • ABSTRACT:  Error generating isometric if there is a pipe with
    more than 2 branches
    Function: PIPE_DES/Fabrication/Preview or ISO_EXTR/Execute
    The iso extraction does not generate the drawing if there is
    a pipe with more than two branches.
    The error message is issued: Error in analysis process

    Run an ISO on this, problem is recreated.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This is a limitation of ISO.  You can only have two branch
    connectors on the same pipe at the same centerline location
    Now, you can have more branches at other locations,
    and ISO works fine.  But this is an ISO restriction.
    

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
    
    This is a limitation of ISO.  You can only have two branch
    onnectors on the same pipe at the same centerline location.
