HC43690: TX24 : WHEN COPYING A PLANAR PART WITH PROFILE COLLARS, THE ORIENTATION OF THE COLLARS IS REVERSED ON THE COPIED PART

Error description

• Scenario from MBT (and the customer) :
  1- SW_DESGN/Part/Create
  2- create a Wall part
  3- create 2 Profile parts which intersect the Wall
  4- SW_DESGN/Feature
  5- create 2 slots with collar for the 2 Profile on the Wall, and
     invert 1 of it
  6- SW_DESGN/Part/Copy
  7- sel With Slaves button
  8- copy the Wall to a parallel plan
  ==> the inverted collar is set to the default side
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Cover collar orientation was not taken into account
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 4 RELEASE 2.2 GA level
  
  Cover collar orientation is now taken into account, problem
  corrected.
