Problem
"ANS9266E Failure initializing virtual machine environment" error persists after successful SET PASSWORD command.
Symptom
After a successful SET PASSWORD command, an attempt to validate selected nodes from the Data Protection for Virtual Environments GUI results in the following error:
ANS9266E Failure initializing virtual machine environment. Can not find vcbMounter.exe command. RC=115
A review of the dsmerror.log will show the following errors:
ANS9365E VMware vStorage API error for virtual machine 'unavailable'.
TSM function name : Login
TSM file : vmvisdk.cpp (2116)
API return code : 12
API error message : SOAP 1.1 fault: "":ServerFaultCode[no subcode]
"Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password."
