anova with 1 subj per cell, no posthocs

Troubleshooting

Problem

I am trying to run a two-way analysis of variance on a data set and I am getting a warning and missing significance values in the out put. There are 9 conditions and 3 groups with 1 subject in each condition by group combination. I requested the default full factorial model with both main effects and the interaction. I also requested post hoc tests for the group factor. In the ANOVA table in the output, the columns for F values and significance levels are blank. There is also a Warning box that states: "Post hoc tests are not preformed for group error term has 0 degrees of freedom." Why are the ANOVA and post hoc tests not performed?
