This document provides steps on how to add a still image to the application using the Image Control from Application Designer.

Steps

Using the Image Control it is possible to add an image that will be common for all records.

The image will be part of the application and can be placed in a section control.

Example:

The image files can be found in the "<root>\applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\webclient\images" directory.

When adding a new image like in the example myimage1.gif, there are some folders where this image needs to be placed. The image needs to be copied over to 2 folders in each Maximo skin. Images should be placed in the root skin folders and then they will be moved to the dated folders on build.

\maximo\applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\webclient\skins\tivoli13\images

\maximo\applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\webclient\skins\tivoli13\images\rtl

iot18 skin

\maximo\applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\webclient\skins\iot18\images

\maximo\applications\maximo\maximouiweb\webmodule\webclient\skins\iot18\images\rtl

After that, rebuild and re-deploy the EAR files for the images be moved to the dated folder of each Maximo skin.
