Adding a Customer Group

Sterling Supply Chain Visibility enablesyou to group customers into customer groups. For example you maywant to group all customers supplying clothes into a group calledApparels.

About this task

To add a customer group follow these steps.

Procedure

  1. In the Dashboard screen click Configure SupplierDashboard Preferences. The various panels available aredisplayed.
  2. Select the boxes against the charts panels to view in theDashboard and click Next.

    TheCustomize Dashboard screen is displayed if you check the box for anyKPI listed in the KPI panel.

  3. Click Add Customer Group. The Sterlingas a Service Applications screen is displayed.
  4. In the Add Customer panel
    1. In the Customer Group Name fieldenter the name of the new customer group.
    2. In the Customer Group Description fieldenter the description of the new customer group.
  5. In the Add Customer List panel
    1. Click the green-colored "+" icon to add new CustomerIDs. A new row is displayed that enables you to add the CustomerID and Customer Name.
    2. Enter the customer identifier in the text-box underCustomer ID. You can also click the magnifying glass icon to searchfor the specific Customer ID.
    3. In the Customer Name field enterthe name of the customer.
    4. Click Save to save the new Customergroup.
