Adding file attachments to a Cognos TM1 Applications
An application modeler can restrict the size and type of attachments that may be added to an IBM© Cognos© TM1© application.
To restrict the size or type of an attachment:
- In Cognos TM1 Performance Modeler, select the application and choose the Properties tab.
- Click the Commentary field.
- Enter the maximum file size allowed for this application.
The file types are listed here as well.
To add or remove a file type:
- Click the ellipses, and enter the file attachment type in the New Attachment field.
- Click Add.
You can remove a file attachment type by selecting it here and clicking Remove.
If you try to attach a file that is larger than the maximum file size or with a type that is not on this list, an error message displays and the file is not attached.
Regardless of the maximum attachment size configured for the Application (using Cognos TM1 Performance Modeler), there is a technical limitation that restricts attached document to be no larger than 25 megabytes.
