Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempting to add any entity representation ( Icon, Theme line, Event Frame, Ole object, etc) results in a warning message about compatibility followed by an error message, and the item is not added to the chart.

Resolving The Problem
Copy the chart contents (Select all->Copy) in the problem chart and then paste it into a new chart. The new chart will now allow items to be added.
