Problem
On change password request AD Reverse Password Sync gives a misleading error message if ISIM is unreachable
Symptom
When an user tries to change his password with AD Reverse Password Synchronization Plug-In active, if ISIM Server is down or unreachable, it will receive the following misleading "password policy" error message.
Error Title:
Active Directory Domain Services
Error Message:
Windows cannot complete the password change for USERNAME because:
The password does not meet the password policy requirements.
Check the minimum password length, password complexity and password history requirements.
