The Ad Hoc Reporting system includes the following features:

Standard reports

Sterling TMS providesstandard reports that users can run.

For example Executionusers can view Execution Performance reports that measure their carrier?son-time and status compliance. Freight Payment users can run CostPerformance reports that measure shipping costs.

Report views

Users can create report views of their organization'scustom reports or the standard reports from Sterling TMS. You can usereport views to schedule reports and send them as email attachments.

Publishing queries and reports

Report authors can develop ad hoc queries and reports and thenpublish them for their users to access.

Filters

You can use filters to limit the data that appears in eachquery or report. You can narrow the information to a specific carrierrange of dates status and so on.

Filtering the data helpsyou focus on areas that need your attention. By returning less dataqueries and reports also run more quickly.

Sterling TMS provides standardfilters in each data mart that all users can access. Report authorscan create their own custom filters on any report column.
