Acknowledging Data
About this task
Acknowledging a document changes its reconciliationstatus. For example if you do not get a 997 for a document but yourtrading partner says it was received you can manually acknowledgethe document.
You can add acknowledgment comments to one ormore transactions. Acknowledging updates the acknowledgement statusto Manually Acknowledged.
To acknowledgea transaction use the following steps:
Procedure
- In the Search Results page selectthe check box next to the data and click Manually Acknowledge atthe bottom of the window. You can manually acknowledge more thanone transaction at the same time. After you select the ManuallyAcknowledge box a Manually Acknowledge windowappears.
- In the text box add comments if you wish and click Submit.
Results
You may also acknowledge a transaction from the DataDetail window.
