Account List
Use the Account List portleton the Usage Analysis Account Segmentation viewto see a structured view of customer accounts that are being displayedon the map. This is useful for analyzing specific customer accountsin more detail and determining how much water they have used.
The Account List portletis an interactive table. The table is populated with customer accountinformation after you select content to view on the map. The customeraccounts are plotted on the map and listed in the Account List portlet.Selections made in the Account List portletupdates the map.
The table in the Account List portletconsists of the following columns of customer account information:
- Account
- Usage
- Type
- Postal code
- Customer name
- Address
- Country
- Latitude
- Longitude
From the Account List portletyou can:
- Select customer accounts
- Deselect customer accounts
- Sort customer accounts
- View customer account details
The Account List portletis updated when you submit a query from the map.
Selecting information to display in the Account List
Use the Account Map portletto choose the customer details to view in the Account List portletwhich provides a more detailed view than the map.
About this task
The Account List portletis populated based on your choices in the selection form in the Account Map portlet.
- On the Account Map portletclick Select Content.
- Use the filter form to specify what customer accounts orwater usage statistics you are interested in.
- Click OK toconfirm the selections and update the map.
Results
Sorting the list
Sorting the list is useful for navigating through long lists ofcustomer accounts returned by a query. You can sort the customer accountsin the Account List portlettable clicking the column heading. For example click the Usage columnheading to sort the customer accounts by water usage. Or click the Type column headingto view customer accounts by customer type.
The list is sorted in alphabetic or numeric order depending onthe information type that is being sorted. Click the column headingagain to toggle between ascending and descending sorting.
The list can be sorted by one column value at a time.
Selecting customer accounts in the list
You can select one or more customer accounts that you areinterested in from the list of customer accounts returned by a query.Selecting a customer account from the Account List portlethighlights the account on the map. This is useful for identifyingthe geographical location of a customer account and its proximityto other customer accounts.
About this task
To select all accounts double-click the first columnheading of the table in the Account List portlet.Double-click again to clear all selected items in the list. Alternativelyuse the following steps to select individual items in the list.
- On the Account Map portletclick Select Content.
- Use the filter form to specify what customer accounts orwater usage statistics you are interested in.
- From the Account List portletfind one or more customer accounts that you are interested in. Youcan sort the list to help navigate to those accounts.
- Click the check box to select each customer account inthe list.
Results
The selected customer accounts are highlighted in the Account List.The selected customer accounts are also highlighted on the map todistinguish those accounts from the other accounts returned in thequery.
Viewing customer account details
Use the Account List portletto view the AccountProperties ofa customer account.
Before you begin
First you must submit a water usage query in the Account Map portletto display content on the map and in the table in the Account List portlet.
- On the Account Map portletclick Select Content.
- Use the filter form to specify what customer accounts orwater usage statistics you are interested in.
- Find an individual customer account that you would liketo view in the Account List portlet.
- Click any column on the row in the table to select thecustomer account.
- Right-click and select Properties.
