IBM Support

Accessing application results in Permission Denied error

Troubleshooting

Problem

When you login and access IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management(CLM) application, it results in the error "Permission Denied - Your account does not have the group memberships required to access the requested resource."

Symptom

The message "Your account does not have the group memberships required to access the requested resource." indicates that the user has logged in successfully, however there is no sufficient Jazz security role assigned, such as JazzUsers and JazzAdmins.

Checking https://<YourServerName>:<Port>/<Application>/authenticated/identity shows the user has appropriate role.
