"Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\IBM\IBM Cognos Controller Local Client\<tablename>.xml' is denied" when trying to use 'Compress' button to export table data (inside 'Browse data')

Troubleshooting

Problem

User clicks "Maintain > Special Utilities > Browse data". User chooses selections (table, field), and then clicks 'Execute Query'. The data appears OK. User then clicks the "Compress" button (to try to export the data into a compressed 'fzp' format). An error appears.
