Troubleshooting
Problem
I have Amos 6.0 installed on several client machines. When a user tries to open one of the example files, an error message occurs: "Access to the path "C:\Program Files\Amos\Examples\Ex23.Amoslock" is denied". This is due to the Amos program attempting to write a temporary file using a file extension of .Amoslock into the same folder. By default, the users do not have Write access to these folders. The only way to resolve this problem is to grant Write permission, which we prefer not to do. Is there a way we can direct this file to write to one of the system's temporary directories?
