You can use Cognos to run and schedule ad hoc reportsin Sterling TMS. Reportauthors can also develop custom reports for their organization.

Toaccess the Ad Hoc Reporting system click the Reporting linkat the top of the main Sterling TMS window. Dependingon your user role you can access the following reporting features:

Existing Reports

Opens the Business Objects reporting portal where you canview standard Sterling TMS reports.

Toaccess Business Objects you must be assigned to the Reporter rolein Sterling TMS.

New Reports

Opens Cognos Connection where you can view and run ad hocreports and queries.

To access Cognos you must be assignedto the Reporter Report Authoror Report Administrator role in Sterling TMS.

Query Studio

Opens Cognos Query Studio which you can use to develop adhoc reports and publish them for other users to view.

To accessQuery Studio you must be assigned to the Report Author rolein Sterling TMS.

Report Studio

Opens Cognos Report Studio where you can develop complex reportingsolutions.

To access Report Studio you must be assigned tothe Report Author role in Sterling TMS.
