About the Process Enrichment Service
The Process Enrichment Service provides the ability totake a standard business document and either validate informationwithin the business document or to gather additional information thatis used to enrich the business document content.
HighLevel Data Flow
At a high level the data flow for the ProcessEnrichment Service is as follows:
- A company or trading partner sends a message to IBM Sterling B2BCollaboration Network using any supported protocol.
- Sterling B2B Collaboration Network sends the message to the ProcessEnrichment Service for data enrichment.
- The Process Enrichment Service uses the message to format a webservice request to a third party. The response from the Process EnrichmentService is merged with the original message using a map (this is theenrichment). The response from the web service can also replace theoriginal message.
- The message is delivered to the customer or trading partner usinga supported protocol.
