Overview
Database VISTA (db_VISTA) errors in a Rational ClearCase environment are used to communicate a particular status or problem with the VOB database, which is not always corruption.
The VOB database is the db directory located under the root of the VOB storage directory.
Here are the documents currently available to assist with troubleshooting and resolving db_VISTA errors that get reported in the ClearCase logs.
ADVISORY: In some cases there are multiple references to the same db_VISTA number, but the actual error message is unique, for example:
