Solution

|---|
The fix for this problem is in ISMP firmware: Integrated Systems Management Processor Version 1.03 - Build ID: BQ8T26A (MIGR-57529) The companion Blade Server firmware level is Version 2.03, 05 Jun 2006 (FW06230140 or 2b406_230) (MIGR- 55553) Install these levels together.

Workaround
|
|---|
The Blade SOL session status will go to a Ready state in most instances in under 60 seconds. However, in configurations that contain multiple Blades, some Blades
will be delayed for several minutes. You can expect some Blades taking up to 10 minutes in a fully configured chassis.
One workaround is to stagger the powering on of individual Blades instead of powering all Blades on simultaneously. Another option is to wait, because all Blades will go to Ready state without user intervention.

Additional information
|
|---|
This delay is dependent on the number of blades installed in the chassis, the power on timings, and the O/S that is booting. If all Blades are powered on simultaneously immediately following a Management Module reset, and all Blades are attempting to boot during this time, synchronization between the Management Module and the Base Management Controller can be delayed for a period.
