  • This version fixes the problem outlined in RETAIN tip: H186798– Appliance now boots correctly if you have 7+ Console Switch Cables attached to unpowered targets.

Enhancements:

  • Added KCO,and UCO support to the IBM Console Switch firmware. This includes both making KVM connections as well as upgrading the KCO, and UCO.
  • Added ability to sort by EID.
  • Added language screen to OSCAR language can be changed “on-the-fly”
  • Added decommission CO module feature for the KCO and UCO
  • Added “Other” Radio button to Device Modify screen to setup cascade devices that are not listed
    • Note: “Auto-Upgrade” checkbox has been added to the CO status screen to enable auto-upgrading of all COs with out of date firmware
  • Added local user accounts to OSCAR.
  • Added new upgrade utility ApplianceUpdate.exe
  • Added PS/2 tilt wheel mouse support to the PS/2 local port and the KCO.
    • Note: that the PS/2 Console Switch Cable does not support tilt wheel mouse.
  • Added ability to choose between four different key sequences to invoke OSCAR.
  • Added Dutch language to OSCAR.
