- If the Remote Supervisor Adapter II is unable to read the server's machine type, or if the machine type is different than expected, an error log warning is generated asking the user to ensure that the Remote Supervisor Adapter II is flashed with the correct firmware.

- Allow BIOS to disable the periodic SMIs that are generated by the Remote Supervisor Adapter II.
