Problem(s) Fixed:

• Improved the handling of invalid network data to make the Remote Supervisor Adapter II more robust
• Corrected the IP address reported in the Service Location Protocol data. When one of the "dot" fields is set to 0, the Remote Supervisor Adapter II previously reported the address field as "000" instead of just "0". IBM Director will not recognize IP addresses reported with multiple 0's ("000") in the fields.
• Corrected a condition where the remote client console appeared to freeze when the servers was displaying constantly scrolling text.
• Corrected a problem that prevented DASD failures from being detected.
• Corrected a problem that prevented the Remote Control feature from working with clients when Network Address Translation is used.
• Corrected the LDAP authentication to use port 636 when SSL is enabled.

Enhancement:

• Added support for Internet Explorer 7

• Corrected a problem where the DHCP lease does not get renewed when the DHCP server is not on the same subnet mask/network as the RSA II

• Corrected a caching problem that caused LDAP DNS look-ups to fail
• Corrected a problem that caused the lflash or wflash utility to fail intermittently

Enhancements:

• Added support to authenticate through LDAP using an account that has the display name and SAMAccount name set to different values.

• Changed maximum size of login string from 32 to 64 to support longer UPN or DN names.
• Allowed dashes in the LDAP ASM Group Filter Name
• Increased the time to live to 128 on all packets from the Remote Supervisor Adapter to accommodate an increased number of network hops.

• Changed the fan fail algorithm to prevent false fan fail indications.
