Installing the system battery
To install the battery:
- Position the battery so that the positive (+) symbol is facing toward the power supply.
- Tilt the battery and insert it into the socket on the side opposite the battery clip.
- Press the battery down into the socket until it snaps into place.
- Install the air baffle.
- Align the air baffle with the slots on the chassis; then, lower the air baffle into the server.
- Install the top cover.
- Position the cover on top of the server so that approximately one half inch extends from the rear.
- Slide the cover toward the front of the server.
- Make sure that the cover correctly engages all of the inset tabs on the server.
- Reconnect the external cables and power cords.
