Content
To remove the Top cover:
- Turn off the server and all peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
- Lift the cover-release latch.
- Slide the cover towards the rear of the server approximately one half inch and then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.
Remove the Bezel:
- Press in on the bezel retention tabs at the sides of the bezel, and pull the bezel from the server.
Open the Media hood:
- Loosen the two captive screws and open the media hood.
Remove the Fan cage:
- Pull up on the cage handles and remove the cage from the server.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
