To install the microprocessor/memory card structure:
-
Align the structure with the connectors on the I/O board and place the structure in the chassis.

Push the blue latch on the structure toward the rear of the server until it locks the structure into position.

Tighten the single retainer screw on the bottom of the structure and the two retainer screws on the exterior right-side of the chassis.
Here is a closer look at an alignment pin on the I/O board and a tab on the structure.
Install the microprocessor/memory cards:

Align the microprocessor/memory card with the guides and then press the card into the connectors and close the retention levers.

Make sure that the retention tabs lock the card in place.
Use the same procedure to install the remaining cards.

Install the fans:

With the fan-locking handle in the open position, lower the fan into the socket.

Rotate the fan-locking handle to the closed position.
Use the same procedure to install any additional fans.
Install the top cover:

Position the cover over the chassis, aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.

Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
