To remove a front video cable
Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
Remove the top cover:
- Rotate the top cover release latch up and slide the cover approximately one-half inch to the rear.
- Lift the cover off and place it aside.
Remove the fan bracket assembly:
- Place your thumbs on the metal tabs of the fan-bracket-assembly levers and pinch the tab and blue release latch together.
- Raise the levers, and lift the fan-bracket assembly out of the server.
Remove the front video cable:
- Disconnect the cable from the system board.
- Remove the two hex studs securing the connector to the front bezel and remove the cable from the server.
