Text from the audio portion of the optical drive installation movie
To install a optical drive
- Install the retention clip on the side of the drive using the tabs on the clip and the holes in the drive for alignment .
- Slide the drive into the bay until secured in place by the latch.
Install the top cover:
- Position the cover over the chassis, aligning the tabs in the cover with the slots in the chassis.
- Slide the cover forward while rotating the cover release latch down to the closed position.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
