To install a front system fan assembly

1. Insert the assembly retaining tab over the front edge of the hard disk drive backplane and then rotate the assembly down far enough to route the cables through the openings in the assembly.
2. Ensure that the cables will not be pinched then rotate the assembly down until latched in place.

1. Rotate the cage up, press the cage release tab and rotate the cage down far enough to connect the fan cable to the system board.
2. Rotate the drive cage down until latched in place.

1. Ensure that the drive tray handle is in the open position.
2. Align the drive tray assembly so that it engages the guide rails in the bay.
3. Gently push the assembly into the bay until the drive connects to the backplane.
4. Rotate the drive tray handle to the closed position.
5. To install a filler plate, position the plate into the bay and press in until seated.
   
   Use the same procedure to install any additional drives or filler plates.

1. Insert the two tabs at the bottom of the lower bezel into the slots in the chassis and then rotate the top of the lower bezel toward the server until it latches in place.

1. Position the cover over the ledge on the bottom of the chassis.
2. Rotate the cover toward the server until secured by the latch.
3. Lock the cover if required.
