Troubleshooting
Problem
The 7.1 and 7.1.0 SR1 upgrade script for the Data Collection Component (DCC) application hangs while checking the 7.0.3 old application version. This occurs on 'Step0: Update config files' when repotools-dcc -migration_dcc_updateConfigurationFiles command is executed. There is no error message. The command never proceeds past "Checking the old application version...".
Symptom
When the upgrade script executes repotools-dcc -migration_dcc_updateConfigurationFiles, it hangs while "Checking the old application version" as follows:
