The Broadcom NetXtreme II Dual-Port 10 GBASE-T Adapter for IBM System x, Option part number 49Y7910, is not supported for the 32-bit (x86) version of the listed Linux operating systems.

Affected configurations

The system is configured with at least one of the following:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, Update 6
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, any Update
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11, Service Pack 1

The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Options:

  • Broadcom NetXtreme II Dual-Port 10 GBASE-T Adapter for IBM System x, Option part number 49Y7910, replacement part number 49Y7912
