Prerequisites
Before you install Liberty, verify that your system meets the relevant requirements listed on WebSphere Application Server detailed system requirements and IBM WebSphere SDK Java Technology Edition 8 Supporting Software.
For installing this Liberty fix pack that uses Installation Manager, download and install Installation Manager 1.9 or later from the IBM Installation Manager download website . The Liberty fix pack for Installation Manager must be installed on top of an existing Liberty installation on any 8.5.5.x level or 16.0.0.2 onwards. Use online product repositories or Passport Advantage Online for Network Deployment, Base and Core.
The amount of disk space required varies with the number of features or products installed. If you are installing the product that uses Installation Manager, the installation summary panel indicates the approximate amount of disk space required based on the features and products you have selected. For a fix pack, you need less than 500MB of free disk space.

Known Side Effects
21.0.0.12:
- For a Liberty server configured with openidConnnectClient with a trustStoreRef that points to truststore, it is no longer possible to perform a JWT access token inbound propagation if the truststore is not referenced by an SSL configuration. The truststore pointed by the trustStoreRef must be referenced by an SSL configuration in order for the configuration to be valid. - If a WebSphere application running behind a HTTP proxy server (such as IBM HTTP Server with the WebSphere WebServer Plug-in) further configuration may be required to trust data from the proxy server.
