Troubleshooting
Problem
Windows installation fails with 1603 and installation log shows "Unable to load Up and Running Engine..." and no DB2 installation trace is produced.
Symptom
The DB2 installation log will show:
1: Unable to load Up and Running Engine (db2ure_v101.dll)
CustomAction StreamLibrarysCA returned actual error code 1603 (note this
may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
Action ended 11:18:46: StreamLibrarysCA. Return value 3.
Note for v10.5 the file would be db2ure_v105.dll
No DB2 installation trace will be created since tracing is dependent on loading db2ure*.dll.
