FlashSystem firmware 1.5 introduced a new feature that allows the client to open and submit a problem management report (PMR) from the GUI. After using this feature an "error 1048 unexpected enclosure fault" message is displayed in the logs.

This is by design in order to allow customers to report a problem and open a PMR.
FlashSystems running firmware 1.5 or greater.
The event log will show error code: 1048 "Unexpected enclosure fault" with error id: 85373 (or 085073) "An issue has been identified by the user."
This error code is created to allow for a PMR to be generated from the FlashSystem and sent to IBM support. It does not indicate a problem so it can be marked as fixed.
To mark the event as fixed right click the event listed in the events page and select "mark as fixed."
