These short courses are designed to quickly introduce you — in 30 minutes or less — to various topics and tasks related to working in the z/OS® environment. Each course states the estimated time required to complete the course material. Some courses include interactive elements such as simulations, which allow you to test-drive tools or to complete basic tasks before you begin working with a live z/OS operating system.

Although no previous knowledge of System z® hardware and software is required to understand the content of these courses, you might find it helpful to first read introductory topics or articles in this information center. Individual courses list any prerequisite reading that you should consider.
