Create View APIs
The create view APIs create view information, which is then available to source-level debugger applications through the source debugger APIs.
The create view APIs are:
- Add View Description (QteAddViewDescription) describes a view to be created.
- Add View File (QteAddViewFile) describes the files that can be used to construct the text for a view.
- Add View Map (QteAddViewMap) describes how to map positions in one view to positions in another view.
- Add View Text (QteAddViewText) describes the pieces of text making up the view text.
- End View Creation (QteEndViewCreation) completes view creation processing.
- Set Encryption Key (QteSetEncryptionKey) identifies the encryption key to be used during view creation.
- Set Wide Character CCSID (QteSetWideCharacterCCSID) specifies the wide character CCSID to be used when working with wide character variables during a debug session.
- Start View Creation (QteStartViewCreation) initializes the view creation environment.
- Add Source Region Description (QteAddSourceRegionDescription) creates a source region particularly for those translated parts in the input view.
- Add Block (QteAddBlock) adds a block in an existing source region.
- Add Type List (QteAddTypeList) adds the type information associated with the symbols defined in a specific source region.
- Add Symbol List (QteAddSymbolList) adds the symbols defined in a specified block and their map information to the view space.
