Data ONTAP manual pages are available for the following types of information. They are grouped into sections according to standard UNIX naming conventions.

View man pages in the following ways: - Enter the following command at the console command line:
man command_or_file_name
- Click the manual pages button on the main Data ONTAP navigational page in the FilerView user interface.
Note: All Data ONTAP 8.
x 7-Mode man pages are stored on the system in files whose names are prefixed with the string "na_" to distinguish them from other man pages. The prefixed names sometimes appear in the NAME field of the man page, but the prefixes are not part of the command, file, or service.
