Applying mining models comprises tasks such as importing
or exporting models, applying models to data tables, or storing and
retrieving the result values.
Extracting information from a model
You can retrieve information from a PMML model that is
stored in a DB2® database by
using the Intelligent
Miner extractor
functions within SQL statements.
Getting application results Intelligent
Miner includes
results functions that obtain the different results values calculated
within the application functions. This section lists and describes
these functions. It also includes information about situations where
input records contain NULL values.
Using the memory cache for real-time scoring Intelligent
Miner provides
a memory cache for mining models. The memory cache improves the performance
of scoring runs if a model is used more than once. For example, you
might want to do real-time scoring. Real-time scoring with the memory
cache ensures a fast response time for a scoring run of a single input
record with an execution time that takes only a few milliseconds.
Using Intelligent Miner in a multilanguage environment
You can use Intelligent
Miner with
databases that are defined in any code page. You might want to create
a new database in a multilanguage environment and enable this database
for the scoring functions.
Encoding considerations when exporting models
If PMML models that are generated by Intelligent
Miner are
exported by using the Intelligent
Miner export
functions, the XML declaration in the PMML model contains an encoding
specification.
