Using System i Navigator with detailed monitors
You can work with detailed monitors from the System i® Navigator interface. The detailed SQL performance monitor is the System i Navigator version of the STRDBMON database monitor, found on the native interface.
You can start this monitor by right-clicking SQL Performance Monitors under the Database portion of the System i Navigator tree and selecting . This monitor saves detailed data in real time to a hard disk. It does not need to be paused or ended in order to analyze the results. You can also choose to run a Visual Explain based on the data gathered by the monitor. Since this monitor saves data in real time, it might have a performance impact on your system.
