Management Central
As part of System i® Navigator, Management Central provides the technology that you need to simultaneously perform systems management tasks. However, V7R1 is the final release of System i Navigator. It will not be refreshed for V7R2.
The strategic user interface for managing and administering your system is IBM® Navigator for i, the Web console that is available as part of the base operating system. Any improvements and additional functions needed for managing the IBM i will be made only in IBM Navigator for i.
For V7R2, IBM Navigator for i now contains some key functions from Management Central, including PTF management and system monitors.
