Specifying use of Save Files in Control Groups

You specify your intent to use save files for a backup or archive by specifying in the control group attributes (or a BRMS save command) the media policy containing the save to save file attributes. You optionally can specify a device to be used when saving the save files to media. If you do not specify a device and instead specify *NONE, this instructs BRMS to store the saved data in save files but also indicates that these save files are intended for online use only and that BRMS is not allowed to save these save files to media.
