Prolog

The prolog portion of the system recovery report provides general guidance for the recovery operation. The prolog begins with a listing of the selection criteria based on the parameters specified with the Start Recovery using BRM (STRRCYBRM) command parameters.

More importantly, this section identifies through the use of Attention blocks, possible problems that could prevent a successful recovery. Always review these attention blocks to determine if you need to modify your backup strategy to improve your chances of a complete recovery.
