Network Management APIs

Network management is the process of planning, organizing, and controlling a communications-oriented system. It provides you with the capability to manage one or more nodes from another node.

The network management APIs can be used to handle alertable messages, Advanced Peer-to-Peer Networking (APPN) topology information, change request descriptions, node lists, filters, and Systems Network Architecture Management Services Transport (SNA/Management Services Transport).

The network management APIs are grouped as follows:
