Server access points

The IBM® Toolbox for Java™ access classes provide functionality that is similar to using IBM i Access for Windows APIs. However, installing IBM i Access for Windows is not a requirement for using these classes.

The access classes use the existing systems as the access points. Each server runs in a separate job on the system and sends and receives data streams on a socket connection.
