emgr_sec_patch Command

Purpose

Installs individual security interim fixes that are archived in the tar format.

Syntax

emgr_sec_patch ifix_tar_file

Description

The emgr_sec_patch command extracts the .tar file, identifies the applicable interim fixes for the current operating system level and installs the individual security interim fixes.

Examples

1. To extract the interim fix tar file, identify the current operating system level, and to install the interim fix, enter the following command:

   emgr_sec_patch /tmp/games/games_ifix.tar
