Verifying the IBM Spectrum Scale installation on SLES and Red Hat Enterprise Linux nodes

You can verify the installation of the IBM Spectrum Scale™ SLES or Red Hat Enterprise Linux RPMs on each node.

To check that the software has been successfully installed, use the rpm command:
rpm -qa | grep gpfs
The system returns output similar to the following: Start of change

gpfs.base-4.2.3-0
gpfs.msg.en_US-4.2.3-0
gpfs.gpl-4.2.3-0
gpfs.gskit-8.0.50-75

If you have IBM Spectrum Scale Advanced Edition or IBM Spectrum Scale Data Management Edition installed, you should also see the following in the output:Start of change

gpfs.license.dm-4.2.3-0 or gpfs.license.adv-4.2.3-0

For installations that include IBM Spectrum Scale RAID, you should also see the following in the output:Start of change

To run the system health check for verifying IBM Spectrum Scale installation, issue the following command:
