Install at least one Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server for each hub Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server. You can connect more than one Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server to a hub Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server, for example, to provide a test environment and a production environment.
The instructions in this step assume that the operating system on the workstation is Windows XP Professional Edition with Service Pack 1. For complete information about hardware and software requirements for the Tivoli Monitoring Services components, and for instructions for installing and configuring the components on a Linux or UNIX system, see the IBM Tivoli Monitoring: Installation and Setup Guide.
Install only the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server and desktop client components. You do not need to install the hub Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server on the Windows system, because you already installed and configured it on a z/OS® system.
