interact with other

Server components
by sharing server access to a common metadata repository. For example,
the
IBM Information
Server FastTrack client
and the
IBM WebSphere® DataStage® and QualityStage
Designer client,
can reside on two different computers but both clients must connect
to the same metadata repository using the same connector.
Figure 2 shows that the
IBM Information
Server FastTrack client
can be installed with other components or on a separate computer.
